Entertaining with cards.
A 1903 promotional rulebook and party guide issued by the U.S. Playing Card Company of Cincinnati, aimed at middle-class American hosts planning card parties at home and outdoors. Sepia halftone illustrations show evening-dress players around tables, garden tea gatherings, and a collage of scattered playing cards printed with portraits and vignettes; useful for period costume, parlor and lawn furniture, and card-fan compositions.
