A French pattern book of garden design by Pierre Boitard with plates engraved after Guiol, published in Paris by Audot in 1823 as a companion to the Almanach du bon jardinier, aimed at landowners and gardeners laying out town and country grounds. The engravings pair overhead plans of walks, groves and basins with elevations and views of wells, trellis pavilions, fountains and lattice fencing, giving designers crisp line diagrams, hatched water and stippled foliage.
