A festschrift of scholarly essays in classical philology, archaeology and anthropology, edited by Edmund Crosby Quiggin for William Ridgeway's sixtieth birthday and published by Cambridge University Press in 1914 for academic readers. The line cuts are plain pen drawings of antiquities and artefacts — shrine models, outrigger canoes, fish-trap rigs, hatched excavation sections — usable as diagram vocabulary, technical hatching and object silhouettes.
