The plates here come largely from the trade advertisements bound in with the text: wood-engraved tufted armchairs and seats on castors, a monogram cartouche with putti and a rising sun, and a dense cross-hatched view of a vaulted stone interior \u2014 useful for period furniture silhouettes, small commercial emblems and hatching textures.
