Explication des ouvrages de peinture et dessins, sculpture, architecture et gravure, des artistes vivans
An annual Salon catalogue listing paintings, drawings, sculpture, architecture and engraving by living artists, issued in Paris by the Société des artistes français for exhibition visitors and buyers. The plates here are trade advertisements and gallery plans: engraved couturier letterheads with coronets and imperial eagles, hand-lettered ornamental capitals, narrow column ads for photographic albums, and schematic room layouts.
