Fabrics we are printing and how we do it
A trade publication issued in 1920 by the American Printing Company of New Bedford, Massachusetts, to show buyers the printed cotton goods it made and the mills that made them. Colour plates lay folded bolts of calico flat against plain grounds, recording small-scale repeats in stripes, checks, dots, sprigs and indigo florals, while halftones and a painted bird's-eye view document spinning floors, chimneys and the waterfront works.
