Fac-similé de livres copiés et enluminés pour le roi Charles V. : souvenir de la journée du 8 mars 1903 offert à ses amis
A facsimile album issued by the paleographer Léopold Delisle in 1903, printed at Nogent-le-Rotrou as a private keepsake for friends, reproducing pages from manuscripts copied and illuminated for Charles V of France in the later fourteenth century. The plates are photographic reproductions of Gothic miniatures in gold-free grey tones: framed court and battle scenes, quatrefoil compartments with diapered backgrounds, ivy-leaf vine borders, and two-column Gothic script.
