The family celestial
A popular astronomy book written by Molton Ancrum Shuler and issued by Broadway Publishing in New York in 1915 for general American readers. The plates are halftone reproductions of telescopic photographs: star fields and Milky Way clouds printed as white specks on dense black, a lettered solar disc with sunspots, and a crescent moon — useful for star-dust textures and circular framing.
