Fancy braid and crochet book
A needlework pattern manual of braid and crochet edgings compiled by T. Edward Parker and published at Lynn, Massachusetts, in 1885 for home crocheters. The plates are line engravings of lace borders shown flat against pale paper, with chain loops, scalloped points, oval rings and leaf motifs that read as repeating strips usable for rules, frames and ornamental banding.
