A 1911 mechanical drawing manual issued by the University of the State of New York in Albany, teaching farm boys and agriculture students shop practice and drafting-room conventions. The plates are line-drawn sectional views of bolts, tapped holes, and pulleys, with diagonal hatching, dashed hidden lines, centerlines, and hand-lettered dimensions that supply ready-made technical marks and shading patterns.
