Father Malebranche his treatise concerning the search after truth : the whole work complete. Thomas Taylor's 1700 London translation of Nicolas Malebranche's Search after Truth, with the Treatise of Nature and Grace appended, printed by W. Bowyer for a learned readership of philosophers and divines. The plates are small woodcut geometry: lettered parallelograms, fans of rays converging on a point, dotted arcs and baselines, several diagrams grouped on one page, useful as line-only figures on toned laid paper.
