An account by Guido Mazenta of the decorations and triumphal arches Milan built in 1598 to receive Margaret of Austria on her way to marry Philip III of Spain, printed by the heirs of Pacifico Ponzio for the city's patrons and readers. The woodcuts give vertical candelabra pilasters with winged masks and grotesques, a crowned Habsburg-Spanish arms, and strapwork head ornaments usable as borders, rules and spot devices.
