A few of the features which will make coming issues of the Ladies' Home Journal the best ever presented

1899 · Curtis Pub. Co.,Philadelphia · 14 pictures

A 1899 promotional pamphlet issued by the Curtis Publishing Company of Philadelphia to advertise forthcoming contents of the Ladies' Home Journal to subscribers and advertisers. The plates are halftone photographic portraits printed in blue-black ink—head-and-shoulders and seated three-quarter views of contributors, actors and public men, some in oval vignettes—useful for period portrait stock, soft halftone texture, and monochrome duotone treatments.
