Field operations and elementary motor vehicle engineering lectures
A 1919 training manual issued by the U.S. Army Motor Transport Corps and printed by the Government Printing Office in Washington, D.C., for soldiers learning field recovery work and basic automotive mechanics. The plates are plain line engravings: rope splices drawn strand by strand with lettered ends, hatched sections and contour-like outlines, and numbered figures set into the text, useful as rope and cordage diagrams, technical labelling conventions, and hatch-fill textures.
