Filles et garçons, short sketches of childhood by Anatole France with drawings by Louis-Maurice Boutet de Monvel, published in Paris by Hachette in 1900 for children and their parents. The pen line is thin and unshaded, with figures of bonneted girls and small boys set against blank paper, hatched check-patterned frocks, and a few grass tufts or flowers marking the ground.
