Finger plays for nursery and kindergarten
A collection of illustrated action rhymes with music by Emilie Poulsson and Cornelia Roeske, illustrated by L. J. Bridgman and published in Boston by Lothrop, Lee and Shepard in 1893 for kindergarten teachers and nursery use. Pen-line vignettes wrap the verses in banners, scrolls and circular insets showing hand positions, mice, garden work and costumed fairy figures, useful as captioned spot art and page frames.
