Firenze antica, e moderna illustrata
A multi-volume illustrated history and guide to Florence compiled by Vincenzo Follini and Modesto Rastrelli, printed in Florence in 1789 for antiquarians, collectors, and travellers. Small copperplate engravings give elevations of loggias, arcaded courtyards, statue niches, and street tabernacles with captions and plate numbers, while the binding supplies red, yellow, and black combed marbled paper usable as texture or endpaper pattern.
