Firenze antica, e moderna illustrata
A multi-volume topographical and art-historical description of Florence by Vincenzo Follini and Modesto Rastrelli, printed in Florence from 1789 and later owned by Count Antonio Cavagna Sangiuliani. The pictures indexed here are the binding's marbled endpapers: dense red and cream stone-pattern cells veined in yellow and green over black, with combed Spanish-wave ridges sweeping across the sheet, usable as tiling textures, cover stock, or scanned paper grounds.
