A short antiquarian account of the Bedford minute-man flag, written by Abram English Brown and issued in 1894 by the Bedford Historical Society in Boston for local historians and patriotic societies. The illustrations are line-engraved rolled scrolls with hatched shading that curl around printed rosters of soldiers' names by town, alongside decorative rules and a circulart library ownership stamp — useful as page-edge devices, list frames, and ready-made scroll motifs.
