Flight : a journal devoted to the interests, practice, and progress of aerial locomotion and transport
Flight was a weekly London journal issued from 1909 under the auspices of the Royal Aero Club, reporting aircraft design and flying trials to engineers, builders, and club members. Its pages mix measured three-view line drawings with dimension callouts and scale bars, small halftone photographs of machines and models, and aerial route maps set into columns of text, giving designers ready-made technical diagram conventions and early airframe silhouettes.
