Flowers and plants for designers and schools
A drawing-office reference of 1907, published in London by Hodder and Stoughton, with text by Edward F. Strange and photographs by Henry Irving, made for ornament designers and art students. The 105 plates show single cut stems of wild flowers, buds and seed heads laid flat against grey grounds, giving clean silhouettes of stalk, leaf and blossom for tracing into repeats and borders.
