Flying machines: practice and design. Their principles, construction and working
An early aeronautical engineering manual by Scottish electrical engineer Rankin Kennedy, published in London in 1909 for aviators, builders and technical readers of the first powered-flight decade. Line diagrams show wing planes at angles of incidence, force arrows, airflow curves over cambered surfaces and parachute canopies, with hand-lettered labels — useful as schematic arrow-and-vector motifs and hatched plane shapes.
