Fors clavigera : letters to the workmen and labourers of Great Britain
A collection of John Ruskin's monthly public letters on work, art and political economy, addressed to British workmen and labourers, reprinted in New York by Lovell in 1886. The wood-engraved figures mix natural-history diagrams, Greek coins and labyrinth motifs, geological profiles of mountain ridges, and dense ornamental hatching—useful as small vignettes, pattern fills and line-drawn landscape silhouettes.
