Fourth loan exhibition : catalogue of a loan collection of paintings by deceased Canadian artists, from January 24th till February 22nd.
An exhibition catalogue issued by the Art Museum of Toronto in 1911 for a month-long loan show of paintings by dead Canadian artists, printed for gallery visitors and collectors. The plates are halftone photographic portraits of the artists, head-and-shoulders in dark suits with heavy beards and moustaches, one in a wide-brimmed hat, usable as period portrait stock and coarse-grain halftone texture.
