A French textile manufacturer's sample book from around 1900, with numbered cloth swatches pinned and pasted to paper leaves for buyers and agents selecting printed dress and furnishing fabrics. The swatches are printed florals \u2014 daisies, poppies, anemones and trailing leaves \u2014 in flat opaque colour on black, red and blue grounds, with pinked edges, handwritten numbers and foxed backing paper; useful for repeat patterns, period colour pairings and collage-ready swatch layouts.
