French furniture in the middle ages and under Louis XIII
A survey of medieval and Louis XIII French furniture by Roger de Félice, translated by F. M. Atkinson and issued by Stokes in New York around 1900 for collectors and antiquarians. Plates are photographs of oak and walnut cabinets, armoires and chests shot flat against plain grounds, offering geometric panel layouts, turned columns, bun feet and carved rosette motifs.
