An annual exhibition catalogue issued by the New York Water Color Club from 1890 onward, printed in New York for visitors, members, and buyers at the show. The plates are halftone reproductions of exhibited paintings, largely seated portraits of women in hats, shawls, and evening dress, with soft tonal backgrounds and grainy mid-grays useful for period portrait textures.
