Annual exhibition [electronic resource]
An annual exhibition catalogue issued by the New York Water Color Club in New York around 1890 for gallery visitors, member artists and buyers, now held by the Frick Art Reference Library. Halftone plates of exhibited watercolors, mostly portraits and figure studies, sit alongside trade advertising pages set in mixed display type and a torch-and-wreath club emblem, offering designers period type specimens, art-trade ad layouts and a ready-made monogram mark.
