Furniture designing and draughting;
A technical manual on furniture design and drafting by Alvan Crocker Nye, published in New York by W. T. Comstock in 1900 for cabinetmakers, architects and drafting students. The plates are hard-line pen drawings: axonometric views of table frames with dimension arrows and pivot notes, hatched section cuts through drawers and mouldings, and numbered sequences of hinge and lid joints, usable as diagram vocabulary, construction linework and labelled cutaway motifs.
