Furniture and interior decoration of the Italian renaissance
A survey of Italian Renaissance furniture and room fittings by Berlin museum curator Frida Schottmüller, published in New York by Brentano's in 1921 for collectors, decorators and museum staff. Halftone photographs record chests, cupboards, door frames, carved panels and bed heads in raking light, giving usable profiles of moulding, fluted pilasters, egg-and-dart runs, rosettes and acanthus scrollwork.
