Furniture of the olden time
Frances Clary Morse's survey of American and English household furniture, published by Macmillan in New York in 1902 for collectors and antiquarians. Halftone photographs show single pieces against plain grounds — corner chairs, side chairs, cabriole legs with ball-and-claw feet, pierced splats, brass-nailed seats — usable as silhouette references, period ornament detail, or cut-out objects.
