A gallery of pen sketches in black and white of "Cincinnatians as we see 'em"
A 1905 Cincinnati souvenir album of caricature portraits, drawn by E. A. Bushnell, Angus McNeill and other members of the city's Newspaper Cartoonists Association and published locally by McNeill for a hometown audience of businessmen, politicians and clubmen. Pen-and-ink figures with oversized heads on small bodies stand against bare white grounds with props — desks, ledgers, chairs, signboards — offering ready-made comic portrait silhouettes and hand-lettered gag placards.
