The gardener's magazine and register of rural & domestic improvement
A monthly British periodical for gardeners and estate improvers, edited by John Claudius Loudon and issued in London by Longman, Rees, Orme, Brown and Green from 1826. The plates are small line diagrams printed with the text: sectional cuts through pits, frames and flues, ventilation arrows, glazing bars and hotbed profiles, useful as sparse technical linework and cutaway conventions.
