UNCLE WIGGILY' S AUTO SLED-Bk1- by HOWARD GARIS - GUNSTON CLASSICS
Uncle Wiggily's Auto Sled collects three 1919 bedtime stories by Howard Garis for young American readers, each page pairing one color picture with a block of text. The drawings show a top-hatted rabbit in a red coat with crutch among foxes, crows, dogs and cats in winter: snowball fights behind a snow fort, holes chopped in a frozen brook, a sled-wheeled automobile on a hill, a snow pudding on a porch.
