A 1912 dyers' sample book issued by Farbenfabriken vorm. Friedrich Bayer & Co. at Leverkusen, showing the firm's synthetic dyes on cloth for garment dyers and trade buyers. Pages carry numbered rectangles of dyed wool and silk tipped onto cream stock, each captioned with dye name and percentage strength: usable palettes, swatch-grid layouts, and specimen woven textures.
