Garment dyeing. Cassella Color Company (American branch of Leopold Cassella & Co.)
A dyer's sample book issued in 1910 by the Cassella Color Company, the New York branch of the German dye firm Leopold Cassella & Co., for garment trade dyers and mill buyers. Numbered rectangles of actual dyed wool and worsted cloth are tipped onto cream pages, giving woven texture, frayed edges and a range of olives, rust reds, maroons and bottle greens.
