The genealogist
A British genealogical and heraldic journal issued by George Bell & Sons in London from 1884, edited by Walford Dakin Selby with H. W. Forsyth Harwood and Keith W. Murray for antiquaries and family historians. Pages mix typeset pedigree charts with rule-and-bracket grids, line-engraved coats of arms with hatched tinctures and cinquefoil charges, and facsimile woodcuts of robed medieval figures under arcades.
