The genealogist
A British genealogy and heraldry periodical, edited by Walford Dakin Selby and later H. W. Forsyth Harwood and Keith W. Murray, published by George Bell & Sons in London from 1884 for antiquarians and pedigree researchers. The plates are line-drawn coats of arms printed beside text: bare shields filled with crescents, crosses, rampant lions, water-bougets, annulets and spearheads in flat black outline.
