The genealogist
The Genealogist, a London antiquarian journal of genealogy and heraldry issued by George Bell & Sons and edited over its run by Walford Dakin Selby, H. W. Forsyth Harwood and Keith W. Murray, served family historians, record searchers and heralds. Its plates are foldout pedigree tables of dense small type linked by bracket rules, alongside halftone portraits, offering designers ready-made branching diagram structures and column grids.
