Gift card designing
A 1922 instructional manual by Pedro J. Lemos, published in Worcester, Massachusetts by The School Arts Magazine, showing art teachers and students how to design and letter Christmas and greeting cards. Plates gather block-printed and pen-drawn card designs: hand-lettered greetings in Gothic and roman caps, borders, initials, candles, angels, reindeer, trees and Nativity figures reduced to flat black shapes, useful for card layouts, lettering models and ornamental frames.
