Giotto's Schule in der Romagna
Albert Brach's 1902 art-historical monograph on Giotto's followers in the Romagna, published in Strassburg by J.H.E. Heitz for scholars of medieval Italian painting. Halftone plates reproduce damaged trecento frescoes: mandorla-framed Christ in Majesty, ranked saints and haloed crowds, painted architecture and patterned borders, all rendered in blotched grey with flaking losses useful as texture, silhouette and ornament sources.
