The girl's own book
A 1923 handbook of songs, games and camp programme material issued in Toronto by the National Girls' Work Board of the Religious Education Council of Canada for leaders of Canadian Girls in Training groups. Pages combine engraved hymn and campfire notation with halftone photographs of girls in middy blouses and dark skirts beside lakes and fields, giving designers music-typesetting textures, captioned lettered verse panels, and period outdoor portraits.
