An antiquarian study of the Roman marbles and Latin inscriptions of Como, compiled by Pietro Vittorio Aldini and printed by Fusi at Pavia in 1834 for epigraphers and local antiquaries. Plates set inscriptions as letterpress Roman capitals with interpuncts and abbreviations, framed by the cut edges of broken stones, alongside outline engravings of relief figures with measured scale bars beneath.
