Géométrie du compas
French translation of Lorenzo Mascheroni's 1797 treatise on constructions made with compasses alone, published in Paris by Duprat in 1798 for mathematicians and students of geometry. Folding copperplate sheets carry dozens of numbered figures — circles, arcs, lettered points, dotted construction lines, polygons and scale bars — in thin engraved line on toned paper, usable as diagram motifs or pattern fields.
