Good light : what it is and does, what it means for the home, what it means in business, what it costs and how to get it
A 1913 trade catalogue on interior lighting issued by the Macbeth-Evans Glass Company of Pittsburgh to sell shades and fixtures to homeowners, shopkeepers and office managers. Halftone photographs show bank lobbies, offices, corridors and parlours lit by pendant bowls and chandeliers, useful for period interior details, fixture silhouettes and studies of cast light and shadow on panelled walls.
