The graphical statics of mechanism. A guide for the use of machinists, architects, and engineers; and also a textbook for technical schools
A technical manual on graphical statics of mechanism by Gustav Herrmann, published in New York by Van Nostrand in 1887 for machinists, architects, engineers, and technical school students. Folding plates carry numbered figures in fine line: force triangles and vectors laid over pulleys, gear trains, levers, cranks and screw threads, with lettered nodes and dashed construction lines useful as diagram vocabulary.
