Greek moulds
A catalogue of Greek plaster and terracotta moulds in the Egyptian Museum, compiled by C. C. Edgar for the Service des Antiquités and printed in Cairo in 1903 for archaeologists and museum staff. Halftone plates show single fragments against plain grounds, lit from one side so drapery folds, limbs and rosettes read as soft grey relief; useful as texture, silhouette and shadow studies.
