Il forestiere instruito delle cose notabili della citta' di Ravenna, e suburbane della medesima : operetta
A pocket guide to the notable sights of Ravenna and its outskirts, written by Francesco Beltrami and printed by the Fava brothers at the Roveri press in 1791 for visitors touring the city's early Christian churches and monuments. The plates copy inscriptions, monograms and seal devices from local marbles and coins as blunt black line facsimiles: crossed letterforms, chi-rho compounds and letters bound inside plain circles, useful as ready-made emblems, marks and display initials.
