Cesare Cittadella's biographical catalogue of the painters and sculptors of Ferrara and their works, printed by Francesco Pomatelli in Ferrara in 1782 for local antiquaries and art collectors. The plates are engraved bust portraits set in beaded oval frames, each artist's name and trade lettered around the rim in capitals, useful for framing devices, curved lettering and hatched portrait heads.
