Tin enameled pottery : maiolica, delft and other stanniferous faience
A handbook on tin-glazed earthenware by Edwin Atlee Barber, printed in Philadelphia in 1906 for the Pennsylvania Museum and School of Industrial Art, aimed at collectors, students and craftsmen in the applied arts. Halftone photographs show plates, bowls and jars in plan and elevation: painted borders of scrolling foliage and flower sprigs, medallion scenes of riders and figures under trees, and Hispano-Moresque lustre arabesques usable as ornament and circular frame patterns.
